Sedation Dentistry

For patients who have anxiety about dental procedures done including general fear, past traumatic experiences, difficulty getting numb, gag reflex, complex dental problems, needles, etc., we offer mild to moderate sedation. Basically this consists of taking a small pill prior to coming to your appointment. You do need transportation to and from your appointment. We have successfully treated many patients using this simple system. For patients that require more than moderate sedation, we do have access to “sleep dentistry” through a collaborative partnership with Salem-Peabody Oral Surgery.
